Prenatal Moms Groups
The prenatal period often feels like it’s all about baby. Our prenatal groups give you a chance to center your own social & emotional wellbeing alongside other expectant mamas at the same stage.
This is not a parenting class. It’s a new way of supporting expectant mamas through friendship, social connection, and knowledge sharing.
Schedule
4-week cohort
Tuesdays June 3-24, 12-1pm
Evanston Corner Bistro
703 Church Street
Cost
Early bird rate of $150 before May 15, $200 after May 15.
Food is not included except for our June 10 session which is generously sponsored by Matrescence Therapy.
Topics
Week 1: Community & connections
Our first week is all about creating connections between expectant moms & getting to know one another.
Week 2: Supporting your mental health
Lauren Ratliff, therapist & founder of Matrescence Therapy will join us to discuss ways to normalize & support maternal mental health.
Week 3: Building your village
The top piece of advice we hear from new moms: build your support network before baby comes! We’ll discuss ways to identify & find the support you need.
Week 4: Preparing for baby
Welcoming a baby is a huge adjustment. What questions - big or small - are on your mind as you prepare for your baby to arrive?
A big thank you to Matrescence Therapy for their sponsorship. Matrescence offers therapy for all stages of motherhood: trying, expecting, and raising.
